Well, a tip o' the cap to the Portland, newly crowned holder of the Hueneme Cup. The Cap Portland's time of 27 hours 9 minutes from Lat 28 easily bested the Sevilla Carriers mark by more than three hours.And the Chiquita ship made a bit of history, too. It's only the second time the importer has held The Cup.
We'll see how long she holds it. DelMonte's Hornbay will make a challenge on Sunday.
